JRod: Obama ‘Spiked the Football’ After Killing Bin Laden (Washington Free Beacon)

Jose Rodriguez, the former director of the CIA’s National Clandestine Service and author of the newly released book “Hard Measures,” said President Obama “spiked the football” and was guilty of “excessive celebration” after the killing of Osama bin Laden.

“Excessive celebration in my view. It’s not just spiking the ball it’s excessive celebration,” Rodriguez said to Don Imus.

According to Rodriguez, bin Laden at the time of his killing was a “symbolic figure” and didn’t run the day-to-day operations of al Qaeda.
