Kelli Ward, a Republican candidate to replace retiring Sen. Jeff Flake (R-AZ), will certainly feel at home among coastal elites if voters send her to Washington.

In an interview on the liberal network MSNBC with New York-based Katy Tur, Ward referred to her own state by using the coastal insult of “flyover country.”

“[Arizona voters] want someone who is honest, authentic, and listening to them,” she said.
