Daniel Geltrude: It Wouldn’t Surprise Me Trump Backs Off Pledge to Fire Yellen

‘I think that the president made that statement at the time because that’s what he felt at the time’

EXCERPT:

DOOCY: "So you are saying that out on the campaign trail he said, 'I’m going to fire her if I’m elected,' and now because of the stock market is humming along he will keep her even though thanks to the Federal Reserve we are sitting on all that debt?"
GELTRUDE: "I think so. Because we’re talking about $5 trillion worth of building wealth since he has become president. That’s significant. So we could look at this situation and say, 'Hey, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.' He may step back from that. It wouldn’t surprise me, Steve."
