Scalise: ‘ObamaCare Is Raising Costs So Much...You’re Literally Seeing Companies Go out of Business’

‘It’s part of the failures of ObamaCare because insurance companies are losing money, families are paying more’

EXCERPT:

SCALISE: "Well, if you look at this cost-sharing subsidies, it was a part of the overall repeal and replace effort of ObamaCare because, you know, even ObamaCare recognized that the insurance market was going to collapse and people wouldn’t have any choices like they don’t right now. So we still want to get this fixed. We want to get health care right. We want to lower premiums. Our bill did that; the House bill that passed did all of those things. I hope the Senate continues to work to get this done. I mean, it’s not only an important, not only an important promise that we made, but families are struggling from the cost of health care. And they’re going to continue going up because ObamaCare doesn’t work. And, you know, the fact that you need these billions of dollars to prop up the insurance industry shows you that ObamaCare is raising costs so much that you’re literally seeing companies go out of business and stop offering choices to families."
