HUME: "I heard and saw the whole thing. I just want to say this about it it. The idea that it is a Republican establishment that is the problem with the fact that these measures that the president have been proposing have not passed seems to me to be ignoring the facts. You have this razor-thin majority in the Senate where one or two senators can completely unscramble your majority and can send bills down to defeat. You’ve got people like Rand Paul whose positions on these matters have been — particularly on ObamaCare — utterly incoherent. What would you do in a situation like that? The idea that they didn’t work as hard as I could to do the undoing of ObamaCare is just nuts. That’s what happen. What the Republican Party badly needs now is the unity and they have no reason not to stand with Mr. Trump on these measures because basically he’s adopted their agenda."
