Adam Kinzinger: I Guarantee You Obama, Bush, Reagan All Asked Questions that Raised Eyebrows

‘Presidents have advisers for a reason, to advise them’

EXCERPT:

KINZINGER: "But it’s different if the President says, quote, I want a tenfold increase in nuclear weapons or if he says, 'Why doesn’t our arsenal look more like it looked in 1960?' And the point I'll make on it is this. Presidents have advisers for a reason - to advise them. I guarantee, and you could go to President Obama's, President Bush's, President Reagan’s, President Clinton's. any of their cabinet meetings, they've probably asked questions that raised a little eyebrows, but that's why you have advisers around you. Again, I think the President has a great team between Secretary Tillerson, Mattis, John Kelly and Pompeo at the CIA that can really point him in the right direction and discuss what the nuclear arsenal is and why it needs to be modernized, but why we don’t need to increase it tenfold."
