MSNBC Panel Compares Trump to Kim Jong Un: ‘We Are at the Dear Leader Phase of America’ (Mediaite) 

NBC News reported this morning that this past summer, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson threatened to quit at one point and called President Donald Trump a “moron.” It was also noted in the story that Vice President Mike Pence gave Tillerson a pep talk at that time and provided him some advice on being respectful to the president publicly.

During a panel discussion on MSNBC this afternoon, Washington Postreporter Robert Costa stated that he wasn’t able to fully corroborate NBC’s reporting, but was able to confirm that Pence is known as someone who believes that showering both public and private praise on Trump has benefits for the administration, due to how much the president values loyalty.

MSNBC host Nicolle Wallace expressed shock at Costa’s statements as she felt that the Trump administration resembles that of a reclusive dictatorship centered on a cult of personality.
