Matt Lewis: I Wish Jimmy Kimmel Would Focus on Being Funny Instead of Giving Health Care Advice (Mediaite)

Conservative columnist and CNN contributor Matt Lewis thinks Jimmy Kimmel should stick to comedy and stop talking about health care.

Kimmel advocated for the Affordable Care Act again last night, and he also used his monologue to go on a major tear against conservative critics who have dismissed him as a Hollywood elitist who doesn’t have a clue what he’s talking about. The remarks attracted interest on CNN Newsroom, and Lewis snarked that “I always turn to millionaire comedians for my health care public policy.”

“I wish [Kimmel] would focus on being funny a little bit more than trying to give health care advice, but that’s beside the point,” said Lewis. “I don’t think [the Graham-Cassidy bill] is going to pass.”
