MSNBC: NYT Report Says Robert Mueller Told Paul Manafort They Intend to Indict Him
EXCERPT:
BRZEZINSKI: “A new report by the 'New York Times' claims that prosecutors working for special counsel Robert Mueller have told former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort that they intend to indict him.”
SCARBOROUGH: “Okay, that’s a bad day.”
BRZEZINSKI: “That’s a bad day. I'm thinking it's a bad day. In the report, 'Times' cites lawyers and other officials describing, quote, aggressive tactics used by Mueller and his team since taking over the Russia investigation. According to 'Times,' the FBI raid on Manafort's home this past July was conducted in accordance with a search warrant that allowed federal agents to get inside his home by picking the lock on the front door. Two people close to the investigation told the 'Times' it was after that raid that prosecutors warned Manafort of an indictment."
