New Jersey Governor Chris Christie (R) was conscripted into Jamie Foxx’s band at a Hamptons fundraiser over the weekend, and the governor was nothing if not game.

According to Page Six, Christie was at the celebrity-soaked ball as a guest of 30 Rock guest-star Jon Bon Jovi, having been turned down by Bruce Springsteen.

Foxx told Page Six that he was trying to one-up last year’s performance, in which he got Colin Powell to dance. “It’s always the ones you don’t expect,” he said. “Republicans love to dance – in the Hamptons.”
