EXCERPT:

MULVANEY: "I think if you read down into the story, at least the story I read this morning, he was concerned because we have significant conversations going on when he was away on his honeymoon regarding sanctions. Sanctions, for example, against North Korea. These are very high level and sensitive communications and he was worried about his ability to communicate securely with Washington, D.C., with the White House, while he was traveling. I think that’s a legitimate request. I think it got worked out. He was able to travel in another fashion, not on the taxpayer dime, and still have that communication. Again, I think it’s a reasonable request, but it got handled the wrong way."
