SBA Admin McMahon: Tax Reform ‘Will Make Such a Difference in the Growth of Small Businesses’

‘They’re so anxious to get tax reform passed and that is the biggest message that they would like for me to take back’

EXCERPT:

McMAHON: “When I travel the country to all of the SBA district offices and there are 68, one in every state and in some states more than one, I visit small businesses, I have business roundtables and I hear over and over again that what small businesses need, what they are looking for is tax reform, reduction in rates. You hear that more than anything. Small businesses want to know what their tax is going to be so they can plan. They will reinvest that savings. They’ll hire more people and they'll grow their businesses. And so they’re so anxious to get tax reform passed and that is the biggest message that they would like for me to take back. That and regulatory reform and healthcare reform. So those are the issues the President is focused on and now tax reform is the big push. It will make such a difference in the growth of small businesses.”
