Meet the new host, same as the old host?
This Sunday NBC reporter Chuck Todd replaces David Gregory as host of "Meet the Press." Conservatives often criticized Gregory for sounding more like a DNC apparatchik than an independent journalist trying to hold the political class accountable.
So what about Chuck Todd? Is he "fair and balanced," to borrow his competitor's term?
That's for viewers to decide. But thing we can confidently report: If the secret to successfully hosting a Sunday political talk show is a well-groomed goatee, "Meet the Press" is in good hands.
