CNN Attempts Interviewing Hispanic Grandma Entering Shelter: ‘No English’

‘She speaks Spanish’

RUSH EXCERPT:

GRIFFIN: "How are you doing?"
GRANDMA: "Fine, thank you."
GRIFFIN: "Has it been a long wait for you to here?"
GRANDMA: "No English."
WOMAN: "She speaks Spanish. We've been here for a while and I know it's very hard but it's encouraging to see how many people are starting to help us to get there, get inside, and we thank god that we have a shelter, that we have a safe place. It's hard for everybody, I believe, but we all have to be patient and we have to cooperate and this is an opportunity like for us it's an opportunity to take care of our mother. It's an opportunity also to serve other pool. And god is in control."
