HEMINGWAY: "If Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell couldn’t deliver on any of the stuff they kept promising Donald Trump, it was only a matter of time before Donald Trump would decide he would work with other people such as Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi. For President Trump, a lot of House Republicans have been useless had best and even a drag at worst in terms of what he wants to accomplish. There’s little downside to pivoting away from them. Having said that, Donald Trump was elected in part based on his ability supposedly to make great deals for the American people. I think he believes this will avoid, it will lessen the likelihood of government shutdown. Wanted to get in return? I don’t think we’ve dealt with the debt crisis at all. We have very few leaders who care about the situation other than the house freedom Congress."
