Gordon Chang: I’m Concerned Kim Jong Un Will Do Something to Surprise Us

CHANG: "The other thing that’s concerning is that Kim Jong-un himself has been talking about final victory in recent months, and indeed that’s a code word basically for taking over South Korea. And the question is, what does North Korea want? Well, yes, it wants security and some other things, but also it has to achieve the core goal of the Kim regime which is to rule the entire peninsula and Kim Jong-un has been talking to his generals that this is going to be imminent. So I’ve got to be concerned that he might do something that would surprise us."
