FRIEDMAN: "We’ve never had a president who looked at a demonstration of white supremacists, the neo-Nazis, and their opponents, and said basically there are good people on both sides, so it’s hard to resist writing about these kinds of excesses. At the same time, I don’t want to look back four years from now and say I only wrote about Donald Trump, that I wasn't out there learning about what's going on in the world. Trump will make you stupid and he'll suck all your brains out if you think and write about him all the time."
