St. Louis Police Chief: Residents ‘Have a Right to Be Skeptical’ of Police Statements

"I understand that the public has a right to be skeptical, and I appreciate that and I would have expect that the public be skeptical oftentimes of government or some forms of it. But I would also ask the public to be reasonable because it takes a long time to make sure we do this investigation in the right way. And please understand that other disinterested parties, or neutral parties I should say, are going to be making their final decision on whether this was just a fight or not."
