Eugene Robinson: Putting the ‘Kibosh’ on Moscow Trump Tower Deal Is To Say Something Bad About Putin

‘If he doesn’t want a Trump Tower in Moscow, there’s not going to be a Trump Tower in Moscow’

RUSH EXCERPT:
ROBINSON: "Yeah, and you would know that the way to put the kibosh on that deal permanently would be to say something bad about Vladimir Putin, who would be the ultimate decider, right? If he doesn't want a Trump Tower in Moscow, there's not going to be a Trump Tower in Moscow. Conversely, if he does want one, there's going to be one. And as you alluded to, he probably would have a piece of it. It could be financed, for example, through Russian state-owned banks, say, and there's some weird connections there. This whole story has a cast of characters around it with shady pasts and byzantine connections that seem to lead into the Kremlin."
