Watters Slams Trump for Not Proposing ‘Reaganesque’ Tax Cuts: It’s ‘Not the Government’s Money!’ (Mediaite)

Fox News’s Jesse Watters was very critical of President Trump‘s tax reform proposal.

Watters, The Five‘s most vocal supporter of the president, told his co-hosts he was “very disappointed” in Trump’s proposal.

“When I interviewed him, he said it was going to be a historic tax cut and that it was going to be Reaganesque, Watters explained, “but now I’m reading they’re only dropping the top tax bracket from 39 to 36? That’s not a massive amount of tax relief. That’s nothing! And that’s not going to stimulate growth either.”

Watters grew more heated, shouting “This is our money! We made the money! This is our money that we earned, this is not the government’s money!”

Juan Williams was in disbelief that Watters was criticizing Trump.

“All you’re doing is attacking Trump!” Williams joked.

Watters continued to rail Trump’s tax proposal.

“Trump said he was going to bring down the top rate on corporate taxes from 35 to 15 and now I’m hearing just 25? What’s that?!?” Watters exclaimed.

“Did you just break up with POTUS?” Kimberly Guilfoyle asked.

“We’re on a break,” Watters laughed.

Greg Gutfeld compared Watters to Ross from Friends, saying “It’s just a break.”

“It’s complicated officially on Facebook,” Lisa Boothe added.
