Salon’s Joan Walsh Makes Bad Rape Analogy: Republicans Provoked By ‘Short Skirts’ of Democrats (Independent Journal Review)

In a remarkable segment on MSNBC Saturday morning, Salon’s Joan Walsh casually slipped an analogy into the conversation conveying Republicans are somehow like rapists when they accuse the president of extremism they themselves supposedly caused.

It’s very short and quick, and if you’re not trained in the nefarious occult arts of feminism, you won’t hear the phrase, but it’s a dog-whistle to embittered liberals:

“…and I think this is the kind of rhetoric that has enabled Republicans to go farther and farther to the right… that journalists don’t call them out on their extremism and instead blame Democrats for somehow provoking it by wearing short skirts or something.”
