Chris Collins: ‘Radical Left’ Trying to Put Words in President Trump’s Mouth on Charlottesville Remarks

‘He’s working as hard as any president has ever worked’

RUSH EXCERPT:

COLLINS: "I respectfully disagree with congressman Cohn. The two years then, then-candidate was very clear. He disavowed white supremacists, he disavowed neo-nazis. He's done it again and again, so I don't know why on a single speech, people want to pick at it. Our president has been clear the last two years. Where he stands on those issues, and the radical left want to put words in his mouth and say, you should have said this, you should have said that. He's been very clear, and anyone knows that Donald Trump knows that's where he stands. I think it's time for the radical left to let him focus on North Korea. Donald Trump has his hands full. He's working as hard as any president has ever worked, getting a lot done, but boy, are there distractions, and I'm sure that's extraordinarily frustrating to the president."
