CBS Reporter Mesmerized as Eclipse Occurs, Goes Quiet During Broadcast (The Washington Free Beacon)

CBS correspondent Jeff Glor paused mid-coverage Monday as "totality" occurred in Jackson Hole, Wyo., and the area went dark as the moon completely blocked the sun in a solar eclipse.

As Glor was reporting on the number of people present in the park he was in to be in the "path of totality," he stopped mid-sentence as darkness swiftly fell on the area and said to just listen and watch. CBS let the moment play out and only the sounds of some cheering in the background could be heard.

All cable news channels and major news networks are carrying live coverage of the path of the total eclipse across the United States. It is the first total eclipse to sweep the U.S. from coast to coast since 1918.
