Donna Edwards: Trump May Not Have the Moral Authority But the Country Does

EDWARDS: "Well, I’m not sure. I actually think that while the president may not have any moral authority, the country actually does. I think that we can see that over the course of this last week, the demonstrations, certainly the very moving remarks by Susan bro, the mother of Heather Heyer, which was a call to action. That the country has a moral compass, even if its president right now does not. I believe that that is how we move past this. I mean the fact is that we have a president who started in his early days in business to the birtherism, to the campaign and now as president, he’s the same president as he was the same man. And I don’t think that’s going to change."
