Seth Meyers: ‘Oh, the Nazis Had a Permit? Well F**k Me!’ (Mediaite)

Seth Meyers took on President Trump for defending his Charlottesville remarks at yesterday’s press conference.

Meyers rebuked Trump’s claim that there were “very fine people” who attended the rally.

“No!” Meyers exclaimed. “There are no fine people marching with Nazis and white supremacists. No one gets accidentally caught up in a white supremacist rally.”

The Late Night host then questioned Trump’s “twisted logic” for equating the Nazis to the counter protesters, which Trump justified by acknowledging that they had a permit.

“Oh, the Nazis had a permit? Well, f**k me! I’m sorry!” Meyers reacted. “Of course they had a permit! They’re Nazis! Nazis’ main thing is having your papers. It’s the one thing they’re good at!”

He then asked his audience if Donald Trump was a racist, which he’d let them “decide yes” for themselves.

“Trump isn’t just a racist; he’s also a narcissist,” Meyers continued. “He defends the white nationalist movement both because he’s racist and because they show up and they chant his name and they show him love. And his brain disease makes it impossible for him to denounce anyone who supports him.”

Meyers claimed that Tuesday’s press conference showed us that Trump would “never change.”

“He’s showed us again who he really is — a lying racist who’s desperate for praise,” he stated.
