Tapper Acknowledges Viewers Who Wonder If They Are ‘Going Insane’ Watching Trump (The Washington Free Beacon)

CNN's Jake Tapper said Tuesday that some viewers have felt they are "going insane," ending his program by addressing concerns specifically about the Charlottesville protests.

Tapper was bothered by President Donald Trump's press conference, in which Trump said that the Charlottesville protests featured good and bad people on both sides. Tapper said that some viewers have been increasingly shocked by recent news, and expressed support for them.

"Before I turn this over to Wolf Blitzer," Tapper said, "sometimes I hear from viewers who say to me, ‘Thank you for being on air because I feel as though I'm going insane, and you remind me that I'm not.'"
