Matheson: There’s Not ‘A Difference Between a Harry Reid Senate and a McConnell Senate’

‘What Mitch McConnell has to recognize is that good policy is good politics and the forgotten men and women of America that elected President Trump’

EXCERPT:

MATHESON: "And whether it was Harry Reid or Mitch McConnell, it's actually the same. It’s sort of like that blue hair lady that's driving slow in front of you with her blinker on, you can’t tell the difference, I’m not sure if there’s a difference between a Harry Reid Senate and a Mitch McConnell Senate. I don't see they're going to bring them back because there's nothing to bring them back to. That’s the problem. There hasn’t been real policy discussion. It's politics first, last and always right now in the Senate and what Mitch McConnell has to recognize is that good policy is good politics and it's the forgotten men and women of America who elected President Trump and put him in the White House, they’re expecting some results and there will be ramifications in 2018 for sure."
