Cardin: Trump’s Making ‘More Difficult’ to Get N. Korea to ‘Change Course’ Without Military Force

‘I think the international community looks to the United States for leadership to avoid a military conflict with North Korea that could include nuclear weapons’

RUSH EXCERPT:
CARDIN: "Well, I think the international community looks to the United States for leadership to avoid a military conflict with North Korea that could include nuclear weapons. The president’s language gives little hope to the international community that there’s American leadership with a game plan that can accomplish those results. So no, I think what the president is saying is making the circumstances a lot more difficult for us to be able to achieve our objective in getting North Korea to change course without using military force."
