STODDARD: "Unfortunately, President Trump is making a very good point, it’s not his fault that after seven years, Republicans in Congress couldn’t come together on some sort of consensus for a fix to ObamaCare, that’s on them. But this kind of tactic is really going to boomerang and is not in President Trump’s own political interests. Unfortunately, this is a team effort here. He’s not back in Trump Tower and he is not the boss. There are co-equal branches of government, they have to work together in September on some brutal deadlines, an increase in the debt ceiling, funding the government by September 30th, reauthorizing the children’s health insurance program, the budget, then tax reform."
