Bolton: Trump’s ‘Fire and Fury’ Statement Was ‘Entirely Appropriate’

‘We failed for 25 years’

EXCERPT:

BOLTON: "Could I just say a word on his comments about fire and fury? I don’t know what went on in the White House to get him to say that, but I thought they were entirely appropriate remarks. For too long, we have heard American political leaders say all options are on the table. They say it in a deep voice, very slowly. Nobody cares about that anymore. I think what Trump did was say to a principal audience, which is North Korea and China, 'This is a qualitatively different situation for the United States and we are putting you on notice that we are looking really seriously at a military option.' I think that’s the one thing that may get China’s attention, in particular."
