CNN’s Zeleny: Trump Is Facing a ‘Crisis of Credibility’

‘A new CNN poll show that 7 out of 10 Americans do not trust most of what they hear from the White House’

RUSH EXCERPT:

ZELENY: " President Trump is facing a crisis of credibility. A new CNN poll show that 7 out of 10 Americans do not trust most of what they hear from the White House. It’s a staggering figure for the president who should be in the honeymoon phase of his first term. The president’s approval rating stands at 38%, while 56% say they disapprove. That’s a record. But not the record Mr. Trump would like. Nearly half of president Kennedy’s 65% and 16 points lower than Bill Clinton’s 35%. No divisions are showing in the relationship with Senate Republicans. At home in Kentucky, Senate majority leader Mitch McConnell chastised the president for not understanding the reality of governing. He criticized Mr. Trump for setting artificial deadlines. Our new president, of course, has not been in this line of work before, Mcconnell told a work before, Mcconnell told a company rotary club, and I think company rotary club, and I think he had excessive expectations about how presidency should work. He said, rarely has an administration achieved what we have achieved. Not even close. Earlier he tweeted a story about U.S. Spy satellites detecting North Korea’s secretly moving missiles. The ambassador to the united Nations, Nikki Haley, says the information is classified."
