Sen. Blumenthal: Obama ‘Can Give People Who Are Undocumented Here the Ability to Stay’ (CNS News)

Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.) said Tuesday that although President Barack Obama “can’t make new laws himself” under the U.S. Constitution’s separation of powers, the president “can give people who are undocumented here the ability to stay.”

“Article One of the Constitution says that ‘Congress shall have power…to establish [a] uniform Rule of Naturalization.’ Given that, does President Obama have any unilateral power to legalize illegal aliens?” CNSNews asked Blumenthal.
