Charlie Hurt: Health Care Was ‘Nothing Short of a Disaster’ for the GOP

HEMMER: "Taxes on Capitol Hill. Where does this stand right now and how much different will this be from health care?" 
HURT: "Well, Republicans better hope it’s dramatically different from health care. That was nothing short of a disaster for them. And even -- even if you, you know, give any credence to this idea that they might still be able to resurrect it, I’m very doubtful of that. But tax reform -- they have to do it. It's something that Republicans probably know better than health care, certainly something that Donald Trump knows better than healthcare. And if -- if they can’t pull this off I really don’t see how their base stays with them in -- in the next election."
