Michael Schmidt: How Is Trump Going to Handle a Real Crisis When He’s Getting Crushed in the Press?

‘How will he handle that?’

EXCERPT:

SCHMIDT: "The -- the other thing that I still find remarkable is that we’re six months in and he’s not faced any sort of real external crisis. No real external challenge. Sure, there’s North Korea. there's health care and stuff like that, but when are we going to watch him go through deep water horizon and watch him deal with a problem in a day in and day out thing he can’t do anything about, and he’s getting absolutely crushed within the press like Obama was on deepwater horizon. Like when is -- like how is he going to handle that, and how are they going to get through that. Because it’s going to happen at some point."
BRZEZINSKI: "Yep."
SCHMIDT: "And then that will be the ultimate real test to see, you know — because this is all self generated. This is all stuff that he has created himself."
