Excited MSNBC Host: Maverick McCain ‘Saves President Obama’s Legacy’ (The Washington Free Beacon)

MSNBC host Stephanie Ruhle excitedly introduced her show Friday morning with the announcement that Sen. John McCain (R., Ariz.) had preserved former President Barack Obama's legacy.

McCain was one of three Republicans to vote "no" on a "skinny repeal" of Obamacare early Friday morning, assuring the bill would fall short by a vote of 49-51.

McCain ran against Barack Obama for president in 2008, and Obamacare wound up being one of the latter's signature pieces of legislation. Ruhle excitedly announced that McCain "saves President Obama's legacy" with the vote.
