Acting ICE Director: ‘Illegal Immigration Is Not a Victimless Crime’

HOMAN: “It’s a message I’ve been trying to get out as long as I’ve been the acting ICE director. Illegal immigration is not a victimless crime. These folks, they contract with criminal organizations. These organizations are the same organization that smuggle drugs, they smuggle weapons, they smuggle people that want to do harm to this country. You talk about drug cartels that are involved with smuggling folks. So these are not victimless crimes. Whether you’re victimized as an illegal alien coming up to the border or whether you're a U.S. citizen being victimized by somebody stealing your Social Security number or your credit rating goes to zero because someone took your identity, this is not a victimless crime."
