MANCHIN: "It will either be an open meeting or it will be a closed meeting. That all still needs to be negotiated. But right now you would think as much transparency as we can. And as everyone is stating and all the statements are being put out that there’s nothing to it, then the public would be I think happy to see that and move forward, but the more things that aren't brought into the light of day makes people paranoid and skeptical about this. I’m just not going to partake in any type of a witch hunt whatsoever, but I think the public has a right to know the facts the way that we know them. And if it’s not endangering any of the assets we have with our intelligence community and how we secure our nation and keep it safe, if those things aren't in jeopardy, then we should have it as transparent as possible."
