BRUCE: "I don’t think so. I think that’s where they look at certain elements that are indicative of the nature to some degree of whether or not the media will present something as false. I do think, though, if Anthony Scaramucci was in office at that point, that likely would have not happened. You had Sean handling both jobs at the time. Then you had Michael Dubke of the Rove Organization. And Republicans in general have never been — I think Judy will agree with me on this — experts on communication in general. But if you get individuals who recognize that we do want to be able to stand up for ourselves, get the truth out, while also pointing out what the media has been doing, the Republicans have never really done that. It is time not only to do it, but to continue the confrontation of this dynamic."
