Dershowitz: We Didn’t Get O.J. ‘Acquitted; The Prosecution Bungled the Case’

‘I helped expose police planting of evidence. I helped expose much racism in the country’

EXCERPT:

LEVENTHAL: "Mr. Dershowitz, you were a member of the dream team that helped acquit O.J. of double murder."
DERSHOWITZ: "We didn't get him acquitted. The prosecution bungled the case."
LEVENTHAL: "Do you have any regrets?"
DERSHOWITZ: "Of course not. That’s my job. I am proud of the role I played. I helped expose police planting of evidence. I helped expose much racism in the country. But my job and the job of every defense attorney is to cross-examine, challenge the government’s case and leave it to the jury to make decisions."
