Krauthammer on 1990s O.J. Trial: It Was a ‘Miscarriage of Justice on an Enormous Scale’

‘The nine years he spent was a kind of poetic justice’

EXCERPT:

WALLACE: "Why do you think all things O.J. continue to fascinate?”
KRAUTHAMMER: “Because of the shocking end of the trial for the murders. For most people, there are exceptions. It was a miscarriage of justice of an enormous scale. In some way, this is in people's minds, the nine years he spent was a kind of poetic justice. The fact is, and I don't know the laws of Nevada, the guidelines, there's no question that he served his time. He should be let go. Anyone else probably would have been given less time for that crime. This is Al Capone on tax evasion. That’s how everybody sees it. He should have been convicted for the murders."
