Keith Ellison Praises Cuba and Russia for Health Care Systems

ELLISON: " — American people is being able to go to the doctor when you are sick, and maybe even going to the doctor before you get sick. What about that? What a concept! Why is it that countries like Cuba or Canada or Russia or a lot of places in this world spend half what we spend per capita and they've got better health outcomes than we do? And the reason is, our system is not designed to keep people healthy, is not designed to keep them well. It's designed to make certain corporations a lot of money."
