Fox News: USGA Facing Pressure to Move Women’s Open from Trump Golf Club

LLENAS: "Last October, three Democratic U.S. senators wrote letters to the USGA, demanding that they move the championship after the infamous 'Access Hollywood' tape came out in which Mr. Trump made degrading comments about women. This week, the 'USA Today,' they claim that the USGA executive director told board members that they could not move this championship to another golf course because the President threatened to sue them. In a statement, the USGA says, quote, 'As a matter of policy, the terms of our contracts with championship host sites are confidential and accordingly, the USGA will not comment.' You mentioned protests, Bill. The women's advocacy organization Ultraviolet says they will be here this weekend, including a plane flyover with a banner said to read, 'USGA, take a mulligan - dump Trump.' It is unclear how close they can get to property, considering there will be a no-fly zone."
