Pelosi Claims Campaigns Don’t Do Oppo Research All the Time, DCCC Filings Tell a Different Story

REPORTER: "Donald Trump Jr. has basically said that this was oppo research, campaigns do this all the time." 
PELOSI: "That's not true."
REPORTER: "For people out in the country who are not involved in the campaigns every two years, do campaigns do this all the time?" 
PELOSI: "No. And I think that's a really important question and I thank you for it. We all do our own research about where we differ with other people on issues and votes that they have taken and the rest. So opposition research is done by the campaign."
