Sen. Mark Begich Thinks There Are Four Women on the Supreme Court

‘Five men said they supported this change, four women did not’

Sen. Begich Gaffes: 'Four Women' on the Supreme Court (Breitbart)

Senator Mark Begich (D-AK) claimed on Friday that four women served on the Supreme Court while discussing the recent Hobby Lobby ruling.

This would come as a surprise to Justices Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Sonia Sotomayor and Elena Kagan, the three woman currently holding seats on the highest court.

Begich is one of six sitting Democrats in re-election races whose potential loss could turn over control of the Senate to the Republicans. The others in tightly contested races are Mark Pryor (D-AR), Mary Landrieu (D-LA), Mark Udall (D-CO), Kay Hagan (D-NC) and John Walsh (D-MT).
