Missouri Gov. Greitens Calls Out ‘Fake News’ Coverage of State Legislature’s Special Session (The Washington Free Beacon)

Missouri Gov. Eric Greitens (R.) called out "fake news" coverage of the state legislature's special session to protect pregnancy care centers.

After Greitens called for the special session, several media outlets incorrectly reported on the legislation being considered. Greitens replied on Wednesday by tweeting out a video in which he called out the "fake news."

Greitens held up an article from Newsweek with the headline, "Use of Birth Control Could Cause Missouri Women to Lose Jobs and Housing"; an article from feministing.com titled, "Missouri Votes to Let Employers Fire People Who Use Birth Control"; and an article from the San Francisco Gate that said, "If Missouri lawmakers have their way, landlords will be able to evict tenants for having an abortion, getting pregnant while unmarried or even simply using birth control."
