BRUCE: “It’s -- it's astounding. It’s as though they realized they can’t quash Trump like a bug. So they went after this private citizen, this individual who has nothing to do with Trump. It made this mean that the president picked up and they decided that they could get their pound of flesh from this individual. Now, all of Twitter and social media in general, you’ve got everybody coming together on this. It’s not a conservative or liberal thing. People have been shocked that they would go after a person like this who has no recourse and no resources to deal with this as a shocking event. And yet, their intention was to send a message that we will -- and, look, they could destroy someone like that."
EARHARDT: "Mm-hmm."
BRUCE: "And that was the message. And -- and that’s the message that’s now being sent outside. And this, of course, proves President Trump’s point."
