HIMES: "It won't surprise you to know that I am not a big believer in President Trump's extensive, deep, and nuanced knowledge of the situation in North Korea or generally. I am heartened by the fact that Mcmaster and Mattis are around the president at this moment. I also have to say, wolf, that whenever everyone rattles the sabre that way, and the president rattled the sabre last week with respect to Syria, he needs to know that the conflict in the United States need to make it clear that any direct contact by our forces has got to be debate and approved by the United States states forces. That's very important."
