House Republicans were forced to do the same thing after Speaker Ryan failed to deliver enough votes. All of these missteps are simply a failure of leadership on the part of both Ryan and McConnell. Once again President Trump is stepping into negotiate a better deal after McConnell and Ryan failed to get it done first time around. Summoning the Senate Republicans to meet with him in the White House, the president doing his best to move things on.
