Caught On Tape: Democrat Official Says He’s Glad Steve Scalise Got Shot (The Federalist)

Just one week after Rep. Steve Scalise (R-La.) was shot by a Bernie Sanders supporter who hated Republicans, a Nebraska Democratic Party official was caught on tape saying that he’s glad the congressman, who is still fighting for his life, was shot.

“His whole job is to get people, convince Republicans to f***ing kick people off f***ing health care. I’m glad he got shot,” Phil Montag, co-chairman of the party’s technology committee, said according to KPTM.

“I wish he was f***ing dead,” Montag can be heard saying in an audio recording that was just released.
