Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D., N.Y.) on Wednesday defended her use of profanity to criticize President Donald Trump, his tweets, and his administration.

MSNBC’s "Morning Joe" co-host Mika Brzezinski asked Gillibrand whether she felt her tone was effective after discussing how it is necessary to push back against the Republican Party following Democrat Jon Ossoff’s special election loss in Georgia.

"You're quoted all over the place about resisting, pushing back. Even one quote here a week ago, I think, where you used a profanity," Brzezinksi said. "But the bottom line is we need to fight hard and we're angry about what's happening in Washington."
